ABOUT THE PRODUCT

It is a cement-based waterproofing plaster that crystallizes, forming seals in cracks, and is used on concrete surfaces to protect against surface water on both new and old walls.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

*Surface Preparation:* The cement-based surfaces in constant contact with water should be sound, dust-free, clean, and flat. The surface should be washed with water to remove all types of oil, rust, or paraffin residues that weaken adhesion. Small holes should be opened to increase adhesion strength. Small iron or wooden pieces in the surface must be removed, and any gaps should be filled with Epocement S40 repair mortar or other similar repair mortars produced according to standards. The surface should be well-moistened with water one day before application and used while still damp.

*Mix Preparation:* Pour the Epo Krist powder into a clean container and slowly add water while mixing with a mixer at a speed of 400-600 revolutions per minute for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Let it sit for about 3-5 minutes, then mix again for 30 seconds before use. Prepare only the amount that can be used within 20 minutes.

*Application:* Apply the prepared Epo Krist mixture with a brush on the pre-moistened surface. Before the first layer loses its moisture and crystallization begins, and once it has hardened sufficiently, apply the second layer. If the color of the product fades after the first layer and rapid drying is expected, the mixing water for the first layer can be increased by 10%. This process may take 3-5 hours depending on the temperature. The interval between layers should not be less than 6 hours.

*Recommendations:* After applying Epo Krist, prevent rapid water absorption. Do not use moisture-retaining substances. The surface must be kept moist by spraying water for 5-7 days. For water tanks, after 24 hours of applying Epo Krist, the tank should be filled with water to enhance the crystallization process and allow it to penetrate deeper layers. At +23°C, Epo Krist becomes mechanically resistant after one day, becomes waterproof after 7 days, and reaches full strength after 14 days.

CONSUMPTION

- First layer consumption: 1 kg/m² of powdered product

- Second layer consumption: 1 kg/m² of powdered product

*STORAGE CONDITIONS AND DURATION*

It can be stored for 12 months in unopened original packaging in a cool, dry environment. If stored for a long time, do not stack on top of wooden pallets.

WARNINGS

- Do not use if the surface temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C. If the necessary temperature conditions cannot be met, avoid using the product.

- For external surfaces, protect the surface from sunlight, rain, wind, and frost during the first 24 hours.

- Use the prepared product within 20 minutes.
