ABOUT THE PRODUCT

EPOCEMENT is a cement-based and fiber-reinforced plaster product used for plastering modified polymer thermal insulation boards. It complies with the AZS 039-2000 (TS 11140-1993) standard "Adhesives - Cement-based (hydraulic binders) for tiles, ceramics, and floor tiles."

APPLICATION AREAS

This product is used for plastering thermal insulation boards during thermal insulation processes and for plastering surfaces of reinforced concrete before painting.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation:

For using EPOCEMENT S40 plaster, it is essential that the thermal insulation boards are properly adhered and anchored to the surface. The boards should not move due to wind or other external factors.

Preparation of the mixture:

Slowly add 25 kg of dry mix to 5.5-6.5 liters of water in a clean container and stir for 3-5 minutes until no lumps remain. Allow the mixture to sit for 3-5 minutes to set, then mix again for 30 seconds before applying.

Application:

Apply one layer of EPOCEMENT S40 plaster to the surface of the adhered and anchored thermal insulation boards. Place a plaster mesh (net) on the first layer and then apply the second layer of EPOCEMENT S40 plaster. Once the EPOCEMENT S40 reaches the required hardness, a protective facade paint can be applied. 

Recommendations:

If the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, ensure the proper temperature conditions are maintained. Avoid using the product in hot, rainy, or windy conditions. For external surfaces covered with thermal insulation boards, protect the surface from sunlight, wind, and rain for 24 hours. Do not add water or new product to a mixture that has started to dry.

CONSUMPTION

The consumption rate of EPOCEMENT S40 plaster is 4.5 kg/m² for a 3 mm thickness. A 20 kg bag of EPOCEMENT S40 plaster can cover approximately 5.0-5.5 m² of surface.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND DURATION

Unopened bags can be stored in dry conditions, on wooden pallets, with a maximum of 10 bags stacked, for up to 12 months.

WARNINGS

Since EPOCEMENT S40 is a complex cement-based mixture, wash immediately with water if it comes into contact with the skin or eyes. Do not add any materials not specified in the usage instructions. The above figures are based on tests carried out at a temperature of +23°C±2°C and humidity of 50%±5%. These figures may vary depending on the conditions.
