Epocement 012

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Epocement 012 is a cement-based, fiber-reinforced plaster product used for plastering modified polymer-based thermal insulation boards. It complies with the AZS 039-2000 (TS 11140-1993) standard for "Cement-based (hydraulic binder) adhesives for tiles, ceramics, and floor tiles."

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation: Ensure that thermal insulation boards are properly adhered and anchored to the surface. The boards must not be moved by wind or other influences.

Mix Preparation: Gradually add 25 kg of dry mix to 5.5-6.5 liters of clean water in a container and mix for 3-5 minutes until lumps disappear. Let the mix rest for 3-5 minutes, then stir again for 30 seconds to achieve the desired consistency.

Application: Apply a coat of Epocement 012 to the surface of the insulation boards that have been adhered and anchored with EPOCEMENT Y40. Place the plaster mesh (net) onto the first coat. Then apply a second coat of Epocement 012 to the surface. Once Epocement 012 has reached the required hardness, it can be painted with protective facade paint.

Recommendations: Ensure the ambient temperature is between +5°C and +30°C when using the adhesive. Avoid using the product in hot, rainy, or windy conditions. Surfaces covered with thermal insulation boards should be protected from sunlight, wind, and rain for 24 hours. Do not add water or new product to the mix that has started to dry.

CONSUMPTION

The consumption of Epocement 012 is approximately 4.5 kg/m² for a 3 mm thickness. A 20 kg bag of Epocement 012 covers approximately 5.0-5.5 m².

STORAGE

Store unopened bags in dry conditions on wooden pallets, with a maximum of 10 bags stacked, for up to 12 months.

WARNINGS

Given the complex composition of Epocement 012, if it comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. Do not add any substances not mentioned in the instructions. The values provided are based on tests conducted at +23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% humidity; results may vary depending on conditions.
