Epocon 485 - K

Epocon Sp 485 K is a naphthalene sulfonate and lignosulfonate-based concrete admixture that enhances both early and final strength of concrete in winter conditions. It is a water-reducing and plasticizing additive, conforming to EN 934-2 standard, Table 2. Compliant with AZS 221 – 2006.

Areas of Application:

Concrete requiring high early and final strength

Precast and prefabricated concrete

Ready-mix concrete production, with or without pumping

Densely reinforced concrete with placement challenges

Concrete requiring dense and smooth surfaces

Concrete with long transport and workability requirements in winter

Concrete requiring early formwork removal

Chloride content % (EN 480-10): < 0.1

Alkali content % (EN 480-12): < 5.0
