Epocon 585 - Y

Epocon 585 Y is a high-performance, water-reducing and flow-enhancing concrete additive based on naphthalene sulfonate and lignosulfonate, designed to improve the early and final strength of concrete in summer months. It conforms to EN 934-2 standard, Table 3.1. AZS 221 - 2006.

Areas of Use

In concrete where high early and final strength is required.

In the production of ready-mixed concrete with and without pumps.

In dense concrete with placement difficulties.

In concrete where dense and smooth surfaces are required.

In prefabricated and precast concrete.

In concrete that requires early form removal.

In the production of concrete under cold and cool weather conditions.

In water structures, bridges, and other decorative concrete constructions.

Composition of the Material

Based on naphthalene sulfonate and lignosulfonate.

Color: Brown.

Density (ISO 758): 1.17 - 1.20 kg/liter.

Chlorine content % (EN 480-10): < 0.1.

Alkali content % (EN 480-12): < 5.0.
