Epocon AER
Epocon AER
Epocon AER is a concrete additive that introduces a desired amount of air into the concrete, ensuring the formation of stable and homogeneous air bubbles. It complies with EN 934-2 standard, table 5, and AZS 221-2006.
Application areas:
Concrete exposed to freeze-thaw cycles
Concrete roads and pavements
Airport runways
Dams and water reservoirs
Production of lightweight concrete
Used in large volume concrete to enhance water impermeability
Advantages:
Increases resistance to freeze-thaw cycles in concrete
Reduces water permeability due to the lower water-cement ratio compared to concrete without additives
Reduces the risk of segregation and water bleeding in fresh concrete
Improves resistance to de-icing salts on roads and pavements
Helps enhance workability and plasticity of concrete
Contains no chlorides and does not harm steel reinforcement
Material composition:
Special surface-active agents
Color: Dark yellow
Density (ISO 758): 0.99 - 1.03 kg/l
Chloride content % (EN 480-10): < 0.1
Alkali content % (EN 480-12): < 10.0
The above indicators are provided for +20°C and 50% relative humidity conditions.
