ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Epomix FR Snow is a high-quality, grey, cement-based, one-component adhesive enriched with chemical additives, which is highly versatile and resistant to rapid temperature changes. It complies with AZS 039 (TS 11140) standards and the EN 12004 standard classification. It is used in places with rapid temperature changes (freezing-thawing), such as cold storage rooms and freezers, on stove facades, in underfloor heating systems, on terraces and garden landscaping, on surfaces like concrete, plaster, floor plaster, and for adhering covering materials like floor and wall ceramics, granite, fire-resistant bricks, and decorative bricks, as well as for adhering ceramics over ceramics.

APPLICATION AREAS

Preparation of the Mixture: Pour 6.0 - 6.5 liters of water into the dry mix of 25 kg carefully and mix until there are no lumps (a low-speed mixer is recommended for mixing). Wait 3-5 minutes for the mixture to settle, and mix again before use.

Application: Spread the mixture onto the surface with the flat side of the trowel in a thin layer. Then, comb the mixture with the notched side of the trowel according to the size of the tiles. For adhering large-sized tiles in areas with high temperature variations, use a combined application method (applying the adhesive both on the surface and the back of the tile). Determine the adhesive setting time by lightly touching the mixture with your finger. If the mixture sticks to your finger, you can adhere the tiles to the surface. This time should not exceed 30 minutes. Otherwise, if the mixture on the surface forms a skin, it should be scraped off, and a new layer of mixture should be applied and combed before placing the tiles. The prepared mixture should be used within 3 hours. Do not use mixtures that have exceeded their working time or have formed a skin. Intermediate grouting should be done 24 hours after application on walls and 48 hours after application on floors.

Recommendations: When using Epomix FR Snow, ensure that the ambient temperature is between +5°C and +30°C. It should not be used in hot (>30°C), rainy, or windy weather. Ceramics with high water absorption should be pre-soaked. Do not add water or new dry mix to expired mixtures. All tools and equipment should be cleaned with water after use.

STORAGE TIME AND CONDITIONS

Can be stored for up to 12 months in unopened bags, in dry conditions, on wooden pallets, with a maximum of 10 bags.
