Product Description

EPOROOF COAT is a ready-to-use, elastomeric resin-based, UV-resistant, super-elastic waterproofing material.

Application Areas

Used as a UV-resistant, colored, ready-to-use, super-elastic waterproofing material for both internal and external spaces of all structures, roofs, valleys, gutters, chimney and parapet edges, and northern facades.

Applicable Surfaces

Cement-based screeds, plasters, raw concrete and slabs, galvanized, zinc, and aluminum surfaces, old bituminous surfaces (at least 1 year old). For other surfaces, please consult with us.

Application Restrictions

Not suitable for negative water pressure applications.

Warnings and Recommendations

Do not use saltwater.

Do not add any external materials.

Expansion joints should not be covered with EPOROOF COAT; use expansion joint tapes for continuity of waterproofing at these points.

Clean all tools with water before the material dries.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, and sound, free from mold oil or any residue that may prevent adhesion. Significant defects and cracks should be repaired at least 24 hours before EPOROOF COAT application using EPOCEMENT or EPOCEMENT SXD 40 for quick application or sulfate resistance. The surface should be primed with a mixture of 1 part EPOROOF COAT to 4 parts water. Difficult surfaces like old bitumen and metal should be primed with an epoxy-based, water-dilutable, two-component transparent primer for high adhesion.

Application Conditions

Environmental temperature: +5°C to +35°C.

Avoid application in very humid or extremely hot weather.

Do not apply to frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours.

Application

After the primer has dried, apply EPOROOF COAT without thinning using a roller, brush, or spray in at least two coats across the entire surface. Fine cracks, joints, corners, and edges should be reinforced with polyester felt after the first coat. For terrace roofs, apply polyester felt across the entire surface after the first coat. Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first once the first has dried. Wait at least 6 hours between coats. The stated times are valid for an ambient and surface temperature of 20°C; lower temperatures increase the drying time, and higher temperatures decrease it.

Consumption

EPOROOF COAT: 1.5-2 kg/m² (for a 1 mm thickness).

Packaging

Net 20 kg and 5 kg plastic buckets (only gray and white).

Colors

Gray, white, green, golden brown.

Application Tools

Brush, roller, airless spray.

Storage Conditions

Can be stored for 1 year from the production date in dry and cool environments. The packaging should be tightly sealed when not in use. Protect from freezing.

Wear special clothing, protective gloves, goggles, and a mask during use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for more information. The stated consumption quantity is general information and may vary depending on the application conditions and surface characteristics.
