Product Description

Composition: Cement and acrylic-based.

Complies with the technical requirements of TŞ AZS 31 43498-05-2005.

Application Areas

This isolation mixture is used for:

Drinking and usable water storage pools.

Foundations and balconies of buildings.

Main walls and partitions.

Water reservoirs.

Terraces.

Surfaces such as concrete, plaster, and floor plaster.

Areas in constant contact with water, before tiling and laying ceramic tiles.

Creates a waterproof, solid hydroisolation layer before applying plaster, floor plaster (screed), ceramics, and other covering tiles due to high adhesion and elasticity.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

The surface must be cleaned of residues that prevent adhesion, and it should be checked for solidity and soundness. If defects are present on the surface, they should be corrected with EPOSEMENT S40 or other similar repair mixtures produced according to standards. Before use, the surface should be primed with EPOLATEX primer or another similar product according to standards.

Mixing

Pour 20 kg of the powder mixture into 10 liters of white liquid, and mix for 3-5 minutes until there are no lumps (using a low-speed mixer is recommended). Wait 3-5 minutes for the mixture to self-hold, then mix again for 30 seconds.

Application

Apply the prepared mixture to the surface with a trowel or brush in the first coat in the vertical direction. Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat after 5-6 hours. To avoid cracks at the corners where the product is applied, smooth the corners and compact the mixture using a mesh. The prepared mixture should be used within 2 hours. Discard any mixture that has exceeded the usage time.

Recommendations

Protect the applied surface from sunlight, precipitation, and dust for 48 hours, and do not use in areas exposed to direct sunlight. Since it is applied in a thin layer, cover surfaces exposed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic with protective materials like concrete screed or ceramics after application. Wait at least 3 days before using or covering the treated areas.

Consumption

Eposeal Super Plus hydroisolation mixture is applied in 2 or 3 coats.

First coat consumption: 1.2 kg/m²

Second coat consumption: 1.0 kg/m²

Third coat consumption: 1.0 kg/m²

Storage Duration and Conditions

Powder component: Can be stored in unopened containers, in a dry environment, stacked 10 bags high on wooden pallets for up to 12 months.

Liquid component: Can be stored in plastic containers, stacked 3 rows high for up to 12 months.

Warnings

Given that the product is cement-acrylic based and enriched with chemical additives, wash immediately with water if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. Do not add any additional substances not mentioned in the usage instructions. The above indicators are based on tests conducted at temperatures of +23°C±2°C and 50%±5% relative humidity. These indicators may vary depending on the conditions.
