ABOUT THE PRODUCT

It is a limestone-based, single-component, white-colored powder product designed to create textured surfaces for facades.

AREAS OF USE

It is used on vertical surfaces in both exterior and interior spaces, on surfaces plastered with cement-based plaster, and on surfaces coated with XPS (extruded polystyrene foam), EPS (expanded polystyrene foam), stone wool (pressed mineral wool slabs), and polyurethane panels.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface preparation. The surface must be clean, solid, and damp. If cracks and defects deeper than 3 mm are present, they must be repaired with Eposement S 40 or another suitable repair mixture at least 72 hours before applying EPOTEC 080. The surface must be moistened or primed with BINDER or another suitable primer before use.

Mixing preparation Gradually add a 20 kg bag of EPOTEC 080 to 7.5-8.0 liters of clean water. Mix with a trowel or a low-speed hand mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Wait for 3 minutes after mixing, then stir again before use.

Application. Apply the ready mixture to the facade with a spraying hand gun. After 10-15 minutes, create a decorative appearance by pressing the applied mixture with a metal or plastic roller dipped in a special thinner (to prevent the mixture from sticking to the roller). The prepared mixture should be used within a maximum of 3 hours. Do not use an expired mixture. The waiting time after mixing EPOTEC 080 with water must be strictly followed, and the mixture should be stirred again before use. No additives (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) should be added to the prepared mixture.

Recommendations. When using EPOTEC 080, if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, the required temperature should be ensured. Do not use the product in hot weather (above +30°C), in strong winds, or on surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours. Do not use expired products. After use, clean all tools and equipment with water. These instructions are based on conditions at +30°C. At lower temperatures, the time may increase, and at higher temperatures, it may decrease.

CONSUMPTION

Depending on the surface, 0.8-1.0 kg of the mixture is consumed per 1 m².

STORAGE PERIOD AND CONDITIONS

It can be stored for 6 months from the production date in dry conditions, on wooden pallets, in 10 rows.

WARNINGS

Ensure the water and containers used for preparing the EPOTEC 080 mixture are clean. Do not add any extra chemical substances to the mixture. The above data is based on laboratory tests carried out under conditions of +23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% humidity. These indicators may vary depending on the conditions.
