ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Epotec A-250 is a single-component surface repair and leveling product enriched with cement and limestone-based additives. It complies with the requirements of the AZS 039-2000 (TS 11140 -1993) standard "Adhesives for tiles, ceramics, and floor tiles based on cement (hydraulic binder)."

AREAS OF USE

This repair mixture is used in restoration works in buildings, to ensure surface smoothness before painting, tile adhesion, and insulation, to fill small cracks, and for the repair of damaged, crumbling, broken, and chipped surfaces like concrete and plaster.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation. Clean the surface from any residues that might hinder adhesion. Ensure that the surface is checked and solid. Before use, moisten the surface or prime it with Binder or a similar product for better results.

Mixing Preparation. Pour a 25 kg bag of EPO EPOTEC A250 dry mix into 5.5-6.0 liters of water and mix until no lumps or air bubbles remain (using a low-speed mixer is recommended). Wait 3-5 minutes for full ingredient mixing, and stir again before use.

Application. Fill the cracks, chips, and damaged areas on the surface with a trowel. The mixture can be applied at a thickness of 3-7 mm. Use the prepared mixture within 60-100 minutes.

Recommendations.

Ensure that the temperature is between +5°C and +30°C when applying the EPO EPOTEC A250 repair mixture. It should not be used in hot weather (above 30°C), during rain, or in windy conditions. Do not add water or new dry mix to expired mixtures. After use, clean all tools and equipment with water. Once hardened, it should only be removed mechanically.

CONSUMPTION

For a 1 mm thickness, 1.5-2.0 kg/m² of the mixture is consumed.

STORAGE PERIOD AND CONDITIONS

It can be stored for 12 months in unopened original bags in a cool and dry place. For short-term storage, three bags can be stacked on top of each other. For long-term storage, bags should not be stacked. The product in opened bags must be used within a week under proper storage conditions.

WARNINGS

Since EPO EPOTEC A250 repair mixture is cement-based, observe safety measures and use appropriate work clothing, gloves, goggles, and a mask. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent allergic reactions and itching. If contact occurs, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If ingested, seek medical advice immediately. Keep the product away from food and out of the reach of children. The above data is based on laboratory tests carried out at a temperature of +23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% humidity. These indicators may vary depending on the conditions.
